Błąd podczas instalacji PiVPN + Debian + VMware ESXi ARM

Jeśli napotkałeś na błędy podczas instalacji pakietu PiVPN pivpn.io, zapraszam do zapoznania się z dalszą częścią poradnika. Sytuacja występuje podczas instalacji PiVPN w systemie Debian zwirtualizowanym w środowisku VMware ESXi dla procesorów ARM. Precyzując, VMware ESXi posadowniony na RaspberryPi 4, a w nim maszyna wirtualna z Debianem 10 ARM.
Wydajemy polecenie:

Rozwiązanie: pobieramy skrypt instalacyjny ręcznie wydając polecenie

wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/pivpn/pivpn/master/auto_install/install.sh

dowolnym edytorem dokonujemy zmiany w pliku install.sh w linii nr 260

PLAT=$(lsb_release -si)

zmieniamy na

PLAT="Raspbian"

następnie zapisujemy zmiany i wydajemy polecenie

chmod +x install.sh

skrypt jest gotowy do uruchomienia a instalacja przebiegnie normalnie

./install.sh
